Heartworm Success Stories

Thanks for Helping Heal Adopted Siberians:
Domino, Kita and Shana

Domino is new to our program and so far we know he is not good with cats! He crates very well and is doing well with his foster siblings.

He does love attention – don’t they all. Domino is a black and white male with gorgeous blue eyes. He’s approximate DOB is June 2003 and he weighs about50 lbs.

Unfortunately, Domino tested positive for heartworms. He will complete his treatment, by about September 1. If you'd like to help this young man get healthy and find his second chance at life, please visit us at How to Help to learn how to make donations.

Kita is sure to warm your heart when she leans up against your leg for lovin and then slides down on her back for belly rubs. She loves to give kisses and be at your side. Kita is a red and white female Siberian with blue eyes. Her approximate DOB is June 2002 and she is 46 lbs of pure love.

Kita does great in a crate and rides beautifully in a car. She does know sit and is working on other basic commands. She gets along wonderfully with all her foster siblings. We have not tested her with cats. Miss Kita is full of energy and will need a home with a 4 legged playmate or two or a running partner. She really loves to run and play. She does have down time where she is content to chew on Nylabones and other toys.

Kita successfully completed heartworm treatment on September 10, 2005 so is ready to find her forever home. If you’re looking for an active Siberian who is full of kisses, Kita is the Girl for you. Why not put in an adoption application today?

Shana is a love bug that just wants to give you kisses while you pet and lavish her with attention. She likes to stay at your side and see everything that’s going on. Shana’s DOB is approximately June 2002. She is a black and white female Siberian with blue eyes and weighs 50 lbs.

Miss Shana does great with her other foster siblings but does enjoy her people. If given the choice, she would rather be with her human than another canine. She rides well in a car, is content in her crate and house trained. She does sit for a treat. Shana absolutely loves toys. She will entertain herself for hours by throwing a toy and pouncing on it, only to toss it again and pounce one more time. It’s most amusing to watch. She has not been tested with cats at this time.

Shana successfully completed heartworm treatment on September 10, 2005 and is happy in her new forever home. Make a donation today to help us continue healing these lovely dogs and finding them forever happy homes.
