The Denver NC, Rescued Siberian Huskies

Southern Siberian Rescue normally rescues 35 - 40 dogs each year and we find homes for about 35 dogs. As many of you know this is no easy task. Each and every dog needs vetrinary care, medications, vaccines and treatments for heartworm and disease. This is our sixth year and we are proud of how we run our rescue. Help us continue our good work. Many North Carolinians have read about the Denver, NC rescue... over 386 animals were rescued by Lincoln County Animal Control. Some of these poor animals were Siberian Huskies, many malnurished and ill.

SSR stepped up and took as many as we could, over half of our normal yearly intake! 20+ dogs and pups were taken in by our volunteers. For more info, see our Denver Rescue page.

The food, supplies, medicines and veterinary bills will easy run us over $5000! We are committed to their care and welfare until a verdict is rendered! As you can imagine, these dogs put a critical strain on our organization! We need to continue pulling siberians from pounds and shelters! Do not let this one rescue jeapordize other dogs in need!
