Adult Small Female Siberian Husky [Mix]
Bear is a sweet, yet still skittish, female Siberian mix. We know her Mom is a purebred Siberian but no idea about Daddy. She has come around and opened up a great deal since joining our program but is still a little hesitant to come bouncing when you call her. We don't think she had a lot of 'human' contact prior to coming to us, only dog interaction, so she has great doggie skills but still is a little afraid when approached by humans. Bear is tan and white with crystal clear blue eyes. She weighs 30 lbs. and her approximate DOB is May 2002.
Bear is fantastic in a crate and rides well in a car. She's not a kissy face kinda dog but does cuddle a lot more now since she’s adjusting and settling into her foster home. She has not had an accident in the house and does not chew on anything other than toys. She loves to lay in the back yard and chew on tree limbs and is equally content inside with chew toys. She does not dig in the back yard but does love to run with her foster siblings.
Bear has not been tested with cats but her foster Mom thinks she will do okay with them. She is fine with young children as well. Bear is a good Girl that will need a bit more time and patience to come out of her shell.
Why not put your application in for Bear today and show her how wonderful home is?
