UPDATE: Frodo graduated from Nash Correctional Institution's "A New Leash On Life" prison training program on April 2, 2008 and is now available for adoption. Frodo did wonderful with training and knows sit, shake with both paws, down and rollover, among other commands. He also had fun with A-frames, teeter-totters and jumping through tires while in the program.
SSR is pleased to announce that we are partnering with Nash Correctional Institution and are proudly participating in their 'A New Leash On Life' prison training program. Frodo is one of our foster dogs in training now. He will be graduating March end 2008 so put your app in for your finely trained new family member now.
Frodo is a sweet laid back boy that is happy to give you kisses all day long if you will let him. He loves his people but also does well with other dogs. Given the choice, he will go with humans for attention and lovin. Frodo is a black and white male Siberian with bi-eyes (meaning one eye is brown and one is blue.) He weighs about 48 lbs. and his guestimated DOB is September 2006.
Watch leaving pans on your stove because Frodo will feel the need to clean them for you. He's a great dishwasher. That being said, he does do some counter surfing! Typically you will see him on the bed or lying around the house with a Nylabone but if you leave the room and he thinks he can find something good and not get caught, he's there. He is easily corrected though. He has not displayed the typical digging habit of a Siberian nor has he ever been destructive.
