Foster a dog:
The best way you can help is to directly foster a dog. When you foster, we will temperament test and, if we feel the dog is adoptable, pull a Siberian from a shelter so you can care for her until she’s adopted. You may need to help this dog learn to love again, but no matter how much work you put in, it’s worth it!
Check references:
When we receive applications, we need to call the references that come with them to make sure the applicants will make good Siberian parents. These volunteers are critical to our application process.
Check homes:
If we approve of the initial application, we need to conduct home checks to make sure the applicant’s home will be a good environment for a Siberian. These volunteers are critical to our application process.
Check shelters:
We always need volunteers to help us keep in touch with shelters and find out as soon as new Siberians are available. If we cannot keep up with shelter checks, we may find out about new Siberians when it’s too late.
Poster and spread the word:
Before the application process can begin, we need to get applicants! That begins with getting the word out through postering and word of mouth. Help us find new homes for the Siberians in our program by letting others know we’re here!
Donate:
Although we’d like to save every Siberian, medical expenses, fostering expenses, and the general expenses of running a rescue build up. We need all the donations we can get so we can save as many Siberians as possible. We are even a non-profit (501c3) organization, so your donation will be tax-deductible!
