About Kira - NEW

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Dog
  • Housetrained: Yes

Kira has a quite a bit of spunk and personality. She came to us a bit scared and skittish but got over that and is enjoying playing with her foster siblings and giving out kisses to her Foster Mom. Kira is a jet black female Siberian with a stunning mask and blue eyes. Her approximate DOB is April 2006 and she weighs 45 lbs.

Kira has an extremely high prey drive and would love to get the bunnies that like to sit in our front yard so no cats and other small things that move for this Little Girl! She has had some accidents in the house when she first came but none recently. She pulls extremely hard on leash – which of course is common for the breed. We are hotwired at our house so have not idea if she'll be a fence digger or a jumper. She does great in a crate but when she's ready to get out, you will know it because she screams bloody murder! She does jump up on people and doors and sometimes counter surfs but we are working with her on that. She has been around children on limited occasions and seemed to do just fine.

Kira is a good Girl that will thrive as an only dog but also enjoy the company of a male canine for play. Do you have a spot in your heart and home for her?

All Southern Siberian Rescue foster dogs are microchipped, up to date on shots, spay/neutered and on monthly heartworm preventative.
